These two modules were originally presented over a two-year period of study, but as an online course they can be completed at a student's own pace. Those who complete the program along with five modules of homeopathic training at the Caduceus Institute of Classical Homeopathy will be awarded the Doctorate of Vitalistic Healing Degree (D.V.H.) by the Home Temple School of Sacred Studies. The Certificate and Doctorate in Vitalistic Healing are not academic or medical degrees, but seminary credentials certifying that a student has satisfied all requirements for these courses of studies. The certificate or degree qualifies the graduate to practice as a minister of the Home Temple, a federally recognized tax-exempt church.
Originating in prehistoric shamanism, carried forth in traditional medicines, recorded in the Vedas (taught specifically in the Atharva Veda) and other wisdom scriptures, the many modalities of vitalistic healing have been practiced throughout the ages in the West, most notably by Pythagoras and Empedocles in Ancient Greece, Jesus and the Therapeutai of Hellenistic Judaism, Arabic and European alchemists and physicians, and by Nostradamus and Paracelsus in Medieval Europe.
Vitalism was first defined as a science in 18th-century Europe. It provided a conceptual background for the work of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy. As understood by the Home Temple, Vitalistic Healing is a path of self knowledge and self empowerment for making one’s own connections to the Divine World and evoking innate self-healing powers in others.

THE TEACHER

This course of studies has been developed by Dr. Willa Keizer C.C.H., D.V.H., with significant contributions, inspiration, and support from Work of the Chariot Mentor and Kabbalist Dan Bloxsom, Tarot scholar Christine Payne Towler, and Dr. Lewis Keizer, Grailmaster. It also contains teachings of Maharishi Jaimini as presented by Vedic Astrologer Sanjay Rath and others.
Multimedia presentations of all classes are available online for distance learners.
Please note that a practitioner of Vitalistic Healing works with the energy body using energetic remedies. This is a form of complementary medicine, which has nothing in common with the mainstream allopathic approach that treats the physical body in a mechanical way.
Willa Keizer has been initiated into many high-grade Eastern and Western spiritual schools, and has been consecrated as a Bishop of the Apostolic Succession by her husband, Bishop Lewis Keizer. She is a practicing Classical Homeopath and Hypnotherapist. Willa is Director of the Caduceus Institute of Classical Homeopathy, a professional training program in homeopathy. She is also a practitioner of Vedic Astrology and uses this modality to gain deeper insight into her homeopathic cases. She has been a teacher all her life and is offering this course to make the rich insights of the Vedic tradition available to Westerners, especially those in the helping professions.

The following are the policies concerning Vitalistic Healing that govern health practices recommended by the Home Temple and it special ministries through the Caduceus Institute and the School of Sacred Studies:
The Vitalistic approach to healing regards body, mind, and emotions to be expressions of the Vital Force, which has also been known by such terms as Qi, Prana,Vigor Vitae, and others.
The Vital Force is the energy that animates all living things and withdraws at death.
Each person is an Imago Dei capable of cultivating Vital or Life Force, and therefore must take primary responsibility for his/her own health.
Prevention of disease, premature aging, and ill-health through cultivation of the Vital Force enhances the immune system and optimizes physical and mental wellness.
There is a growing body of science that must be made accessible to all people who wish to take primary responsibility for their own health.
Valuable wellness practices and treatments are embedded in ancient, traditional, and other vitalistic forms of healing that rely upon steps that can be taken only by individual effort, such as Qi Gung, Homeopathy, Traditional Foods, Hypnotherapy, and various advanced yogas.
Home Temple educational literature will recommend specific programs and products that have demonstrated clinical effectiveness in peer-reviewed studies.
